Engineer, Mr. Pietro Piccinetti began his professional career at the Olivetti Group, making a long experience covering different positions in South America, in the USA and finally as Director in Milan. In his wide experience Mr. Piccinetti has been a President and CEO in many Industrial Companies, mostly based in the North of Italy ( Milano, Vicenza, Udine). Since 2000, Exhibition Trade Fairs and Tourism have become his main Core Business, operating first in the Board of Director at Fiera Milano Group. He has been Vice President of Italy-China Chamber of Commerce, Milan (2006/2010), and Senior Advisor for Europe at Leggett&Platt Inc. (S&P 500) diversified manufacturer (2003/2007), then CEO of Pordenone Fiere and since 2016 at present as the CEO and Managing Director of Fiera Roma.

He is member of the Board of Directors and Vice President of AEFI (the Italian Exhibition and Trade Fair Association) and in the Board of FEDERCONGRESSI & EVENTI, and President of CEFA (the Central European Fairs Alliance) 2018/2019.
In 2020 he has become Member of the Board of Directors of the Italian Convention Bureau and member of the UFI Board of Directors (The Global Association of Exhibition Industry).

Invitee Professor for the Master on Trade Exhibition Fair Management and Organization, at the University of Rome “LA SAPIENZA”, University of Rome Tor Vergata and Roma Tre University.
