Universities at
NSE 2026:

A Campus for Innovation

Where academic knowledge meets the next generation of talent

From 25 to 27 November 2026, Hall 10 at NSE – New Space Economy Expoforum will become a university campus, bringing academic research and technological innovation to the heart of the event.
As part of NSE Future & Young Lab, universities will connect with companies and institutions, to share expertise and explore the challenges and opportunities of the space economy.

That’s how NSE Future & Young is brought to life: a major territorial hub for knowledge, skills, and technology transfer, designed to connect young people, universities, business, institutions, and key players in the space economy.
The purpose is to reduce distances, encourage direct dialogue, build relationships, and foster new collaborations.

Bringing the University Experience to NSE

The programme will feature research projects, technology-transfer case studies, innovative applications, and prototypes developed in academic laboratories, showcasing how research can be translated into practical, real-world solutions.
It will also explore emerging skills, career opportunities and new pathways for professional development in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.

NSE 2026 will also host a dedicated space for SASA – Sapienza Aerospace Student Association and SEDS – Students for the Exploration and Development of Space, highlighting the role of student-led initiatives in advancing knowledge and innovation in the space sector. The space will feature projects and prototypes developed by the Sapienza Rocket, Technology, Flight and Space teams, giving visitors first-hand insight into their work and activities.

Connecting Knowledge, Talent and Opportunity

At the core of NSE Future & Young Lab is a clear ambition: to give the next generation an active role in shaping the future of the space economy. By connecting academic expertise with real-world challenges, the initiative creates opportunities for collaboration, knowledge exchange and the development of new ideas across the space ecosystem.
