This year at NSE – New Space Economy 2025 at Fiera Roma, there will be a dynamic and interactive educational path within the event dedicated to high school students. They will have an engaging and stimulating experience that combines learning and fun, promoting personal and professional growth.
Through this path, young people will have the opportunity to meet and talk with industry professionals, explore the potential of virtual reality, attend simulations, and discover innovations in the field of robotics. Guided experiments will also be organized, allowing students to put acquired knowledge into practice. Additionally, visits to the stands of leading companies in the sector will provide a concrete and in-depth overview of the most advanced technologies.
INGV
INGV will be present at the Expo with a stand where visitors can interact with researchers and discover the application of space culture to Geosciences. Special attention will be given to the use of space data in geosciences. Informative materials and technical-scientific demonstrations will be available both at the stand and online. Students can participate in thematic workshops with practical demonstrations.
ITALIAN AIR FORCE
The Italian Air Force will be present for three days at the Expo, offering an immersive experience in its world. Visitors will be able to admire the activities of the Armed Forces, try the flight simulator, and immerse themselves in virtual reality. Meetings and workshops will be organized to understand the activities carried out by the Air Force, including Space Weather. Additionally, there will be presentations and dialogues with aerospace sector experts.
LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®
The LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® activity in the education area will offer students and professionals a unique learning and development experience. Using LEGO® bricks, participants will build three-dimensional models in response to specific questions, fostering creativity and problem-solving. This innovative methodology allows for the exploration of complex concepts through play, improving communication and collaboration. For professionals, LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® represents an opportunity to develop business strategies and team building in an engaging and productive way.
ENEA
ENEA will present innovative models and systems for space cultivation, including two models of the Greencube satellite and a controlled environment cultivation system. The Microgreens Cultivation System for space will also be displayed. The organization will arrange educational activities and demonstrations for schools and visitors, showing how plant growth occurs in vertical cultivation systems. Visitors will also see the products that astronauts will eat in future space missions.
ASITAF
ASITAF showcases a collection of stamps dedicated to space exploration, known as astrophilately. This collection tells the history of space conquest through postal documents. Astrophilately studies the historical, technical, and scientific aspects of space. The collection illustrates how humanity has crossed terrestrial boundaries, opening a new space era.
SASA
At their stand, several demonstrations will be carried out to showcase different space technologies such as:
• Sapienza Rocket Team (SRT): Three Rocket Probe prototypes (Minerva, Juno, Caronte);
• Sapienza Space Team (SST): CanSat and some picosats;
• Sapienza Technology Team (STT): CC-8 Rover.
SEDS
They will host a variety of engaging activities at NSE 2025, including interactive workshops, expert talks, and networking opportunities. Participants will gain insights into the latest space industry trends and innovations. The event aims to inspire and educate the next generation of space professionals.
ORDINE DEGLI INGEGNERI DI ROMA
The Order of Engineers of Rome is a leading professional institution, dedicated to promoting technical knowledge and innovation. At NSE – New Space Economy 2025, it will present an engaging and interactive path designed for students. Participants will have the opportunity to meet engineers, explore advanced methodologies, and discover the role of engineering in society. Workshops and guided activities will allow young people to put acquired skills into practice. Through this experience, students will gain a concrete overview of the profession and its contribution to sustainable development.
