Sergio Tabasco Vargas graduated from the Technical University of Madrid with a MSc in Aerospace Engineering in 2014, specialising in Space Vehicles. He then enrolled in an International Masters of Business Administration (MBA) at Beijing Institute of Technology. During his stay in China, he discovered SGAC and became part of the organising team of the 2nd Asia-Pacific Space Generation Workshop, leading a working group that focused on space business incubators in Asia Pacific. After completing his business studies, he went back to Europe and started working as Business Development Engineer within the space industry. In 2017 he got further involved in SGAC, becoming National Point of Contact (NPoC) for Spain. Since 2018 he works as a contractor for the European Space Agency, where he supports the Industrial Policy & SME Division in strengthening and expanding the European space industrial ecosystem.
